FG: Septic tank charges are stealth tax

Fine Gael has described the Government’s planned charge for inspection of septic tanks, as the latest stealth tax to hit people in rural Ireland.

Fine Gael’s Environment spokesperson Bernard Allen believes the introduction of regulations to have septic tanks inspected and cleaned every two years is excessive and unfair.
