Physios add support to smoking ban

Further support has been shown for the workplace smoking ban due to be implemented in January.

The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists spoke out today in favour of the ban and called on Minister Martin not to compromise on his proposals.

According to the group, international scientific evidence accepted by the World Health Organisation has established that passive smoke is a grade one carcinogen.
