Galway area prepares for more mud slides

Residents in Derrybrien in Co Galway are welcoming indications from the Government that the ESB will be made to pay compensation if they are proven to be responsible for the landslides that have affected the area.

It's believed the construction of a wind farm by a subsidiary of the ESB has led to masses of mud and debris slipping from a 1,000ft-high mountain beside the village.
