Members of the VFI have been meeting in Portlaoise to discuss their next course of action.

They claim the ban, coming into effect on January 26, will lead to 100s of job losses in the hospitality sector.

The Vintners Federation said it will examine legal challenges to the implementation of the ban in pubs.
