Gardaí in Co Westmeath are investigating the discovery of a cache of explosives in a wooded area near Lake Derravargh today.

Gardaí in Co Westmeath are investigating the discovery of a cache of explosives in a wooded area near Lake Derravargh today.

The cache is believed to contain two detonators, component parts of mortar devices and half a stick of gelignite.
