Firefighters called to island gorse fire

Firefighters were called out to a gorse fire on Cape Clear Island, off the coast of Co Cork, last night.

The Baltimore lifeboat was launched last night at 7.45pm when it emerged the fire had broken out on the island and was threatening a house.
