A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital following what appears to have been a paramilitarty-style shooting in North Belfast.

A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital following what appears to have been a paramilitary-style shooting in North Belfast.

The victim received one gunshot wound to his left leg.

The incident took place in an entry close to Mervue Street last night.
