IRA apologises to families of Disappeared

The IRA has issued a statement apologising to families for suffering caused by the murder and secret burial of several suspected British army informers during the Troubles in the North.

However, in its statement today, the IRA insisted that it was not responsible for all those who "disappeared during its armed struggle".
