Two men shot in north Belfast punishment attacks
Police in the North are investigating two paramilitary-style punishment shootings in north Belfast.
A 43-year-old man was shot in the calf in the first incident on Mervue Street at around 8pm, while a 45-year-old man was also shot in the leg in the second incident in Shore Crescent a short time later.
The second victim had earlier been abducted on Jellicoe Avenue by four masked men.
