Start-up companies see 3,600 jobs in three years
Figures have revealed 84 new start-up companies, which were supported by Enterprise Ireland, have created 3,600 new jobs over the last three years.
The companies have generated sales of €250m and exports of almost €93m.
The Tánaiste, Mary Harney, says the figure show that not all jobs here are being created by large multi-nationals, and that small indigenous businesses are important to the Irish economy.
