Taoiseach to present report on proposed EU constitution

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is due to present a report on negotiations regarding the proposed EU constitution to the Forum on Europe later today.

The proposed constitution aims to replace all the existing treaties setting out the rules of the EU.

Mr Ahern is due to answer questions at the Forum on Europe today about Ireland’s main concerns in relation to the document.
