The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is due to present a report on negotiations regarding the proposed EU constitution to the Forum on Europe later today.

The proposed constitution aims to replace all the existing treaties setting out the rules of the EU.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
