Labour: Gardaí 'stretched to the limits'

The Labour party has said the Government has failed to recruit 2,000 gardaí promised last year.

Justice Spokesman, Deputy Joe Costello said new figures show that numbers in the gardaí have only increased by 51 since last year's General Election.
