The Equality Tribunal has reported a 23% fall in the number of cases it has dealt with under the Equal Status Act in the first three months of this year compared with the same period last year.

The Equality Tribunal has reported a 23% fall in the number of cases it has dealt with under the Equal Status Act in the first three months of this year compared with the same period last year.

The tribunal said the number of discrimination cases involving Travellers fell by 33% between January and September.
