SDLP vent anger at talks exclusion

A delegation from the SDLP has held talks with the Ministers for Foreign Affairs Brian Cowen and the Minister for Justice Michael McDowell at Leinster House today.

It is understood the talks centred on the exclusion of the SDLP from discussions held in London on Monday involving the Taoiseach, British Prime Minister, UUP leader and Sinn Féin President.

The SDLP would not confirm that today's meeting related to Monday's discussions, but delegate Sean Farren said more inclusion is required for the process to move on.
