A former republican prisoner who was questioned in connection with the 1998 Omagh bomb is seeking up to £15,000 (E21,400) in compensation for alleged trauma suffered during police interrogation.

A former republican prisoner who was questioned in connection with the 1998 Omagh bomb is seeking up to £15,000 (E21,400) in compensation for alleged trauma suffered during police interrogation.

The man, who was not charged with any offence following his arrest, said he was shown harrowing photographs of the Omagh victims during his interrogation.
