The Vintners Federation of Ireland is claiming that pub owners won't be able to enforce the smoking ban and that the Government should ban the sale of tobacco in Ireland instead.

The Vintners Federation of Ireland is claiming that pub owners won't be able to enforce the smoking ban and that the Government should ban the sale of tobacco in Ireland instead.

Publicans claim they can't subscribe to a law that fines them "for the misdoings of others" and want the Government to remove responsibility for enforcement of the ban from them.
