Three more bin protestors face jail sentences

Three more anti-bin tax campaigners have been handed jail sentences today.

Brid Smith, PRO for the Dublin Campaign Against the Bin Tax, has been sentenced to two weeks in prison today.

Alongside Brid were two campaign members from the Mount Tallant area of Dublin, Chrissy Heffernan, a 60 year-old grandmother, and Karen Heffernan, the mother of a 14-month old baby.

Chrissy was sentenced to two weeks in jail and Karen was sentenced to one week.
