Murder investigation launched in Dublin

A murder investigation is underway in Dublin today.

It follows the discovery of the body of a 29-year-old man, found dumped in an area of wasteland in Finglas yesterday.

He'd been missing since Monday.

Gardaí confirmed last night that the man had sustained gunshot wounds following a post mortem examination.
