INO president demands proper funding

The new president of the Irish Nurses Organisation (INO) says she intends to maintain pressure on the Government to adequately fund existing health services.

The new president of the Irish Nurses Organisation (INO) says she intends to maintain pressure on the Government to adequately fund existing health services.

Anne Martin says it is her intention that the INO will be an active participant in all of the discussions surrounding the proposed Government reforms of the Irish health service.

Ms Martin is a clinical midwife manager in University College Hospital in Galway.
