SFA: 'Dart works will spell shopping disaster'

The Small Firms Association say there will be a disaster in Dublin City if Dart service works continue in the run up to Christmas.

This follows a recent reduction in consumer spending in Dublin City because of traffic congestion and LUAS works.

SFA Directory, Pat Delaney says if work is not halted on the four weekends up to Christmas, 90,000 people will use their cars instead, which will cause congestion - and a disaster for shop-owners.
