Hospitals will uphold smoking ban

The Association of Directors of Nursing and Midwifery says it supports the proposed national workplace smoking ban.

Delegates at its annual conference in Dublin have been told the hospitality industry has a duty to its employees and customers to uphold the ban when it comes into effect in three months time.

President of IADNAM Geraldine Regan agrees with the stand taken by the Minister for Health.
