Government claims progress made in helping old people

Significant progress has been made by the Government in the development of services for older people.

That is according to the Minister of State for Older People, Ivor Callely, who is launching Positive Ageing week.

Positive Ageing week which runs until Saturday urges people to be conscious about the needs of the elderly in our society.
