Department of Defence announces new contracts

The Department of Defence has announced three construction contracts, worth around €7m.

A new Naval Technical Store in Haulbowline, Co Cork is to be built at a cost of €2.6m.

Reinforced concrete 'igloo' storehouses are being constructed at the Curragh Camp, Kildare, costing €2.2m.

An NCO's mess is being built at Custom Barracks, Athlone, at a cost of €1.24m.
