Dempsey: ‘Act responsibly if you drive a car’

The Minister for Education Noel Dempsey says everybody who drives a car should behave and act responsibly on the road.

He was responding to reporters who asked him if Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin North, Mr GV Wright, should resign, after failing a breathalyser test following an accident in which a woman was injured.

Minister Dempsey who was once responsible for road safety when Minister for the Environment, said he didn't know all the facts surrounding Deputy Wright's arrest on Thursday night last.
