'Drive-by' shooting injures two in Dublin

Two people have been injured following an overnight shooting in Coolock, on Dublin's north-side.

The 20-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend were sitting on a wall with friends in Moatview, in Priorswood, when a car pulled up and fired a number of shots.

Gardaí say that a man fired shots from the back of the car before speeding off.

As yet there have been no arrests and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the attack to come forward.
