Gardaí seek help in Spanish murder investigation
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the murder of a 24-year-old Irishman in Spain earlier this year to come forward.
Daniel O’Callaghan, from Rathmines in Dublin, died from serious head injuries he sustained in a suspected assault in the Playa del Ingles resort on Gran Canaria in April.
He died in hospital around a month after being found unconscious on a laneway between the Greenfield and Green Garden apartment complexes on April 27.
Gardaí said many Irish people would have been on holiday or working in the area at the time and may have some additional information about Mr O’Callaghan’s death.
