Protestant Bishop condemns vandalism

A senior Protestant churchman is condemning the vandalism of Carnmoney Cemetery in Belfast.

The Bishop of Connor, Dr Alan Harper, has described the attacks by loyalists as outrageous and distressing.

He has also condemned death threats made against catholic priest Fr Dan Whyte who conducted grave blessings at the cemetery.

Dr Harper branded those responsible as bigots and says no one must be manipulated by them.
