Rural 'u-turn' will damage country: Labour

The Labour Party has said the Taoiseach's proposed "u-turn" on rural development policy will damage Ireland's countryside.

Labour TD Eamon Gilmore is accusing the Government of trying to buy the votes of rural landowners keen to capitalise on the property boom.
