Govt accepts 25% of Church land deal: Report
The Government is reported to have accepted only 25% of land offered by the Conference of Religious in Ireland as part of the deal to indemnify religious orders against claims from victims of abuse.
The State has agreed to accept 32 properties valued at almost €20m.
Under the controversial deal, the Government has the option to look for a cash alternative to property if the property is deemed of no use.
