INOU says jobs blow shows economy woes

The Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed said today that two separate job loss announcements show the economy is in trouble.

Over 300 manufacturing posts are to go at Schneider Electric in Celbridge, Co Kildare. This follows confirmation of 640 redundancies at 3Com in Blanchardstown.

Eric Conroy from the INOU said a worrying trend has developed.
