Iarnrod Eireann warns of train disruptions today

Train travellers are advised to expect some disruption to services later today as Iarnrod Eireann carry out essential track maintenance.

Bus transfers are to operate between Portlaoise and Thurles on trains between Dublin Heuston and Cork, and Dublin Heuston and Limerick. Passengers should be aware that their journeys will be delayed by thirty to forty minutes as a result.

In Dublin DART services to the south will run to and from Dalkey station only until midday.

Bus transfers will operate from Dun Laoghaire for passengers for Killiney, Shankill, Bray and Greystones.

Tara street station will remain closed all day. Passengers are advised to use Pearse or Connolly stations instead.
