Launch of European Heritage Days programme in Glendalough

The European Heritage Days is to be launched today in Glendalough, Co Wicklow.

The programme hopes to make Europeans more aware of heritage and cultural exhibits in their localities and will allow access to sites and monuments not usually open to the public.

Glendalough will be the venue for a public living history celebration starting at 2pm this afternoon.
