Gardaí to prosecute Neary

The disgraced doctor at the centre of the scandal surrounding the unnecessary removal of women's wombs, Dr Michael Neary, may be facing sexual assault charges, or charges of grievous bodily harm.

Neary was struck off the medical register after it was revealed he needlessly removed the wombs of 10 women at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in Drogheda, in the twenty years up to 1999.
