Trimble predicts victory at UUP council meeting

Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble has predicted that he will win the support of his party’s ruling council when it meets tomorrow.

The UUP council is meeting to discuss whether to take disciplinary action against the three dissident MPs who resigned the party whip in Westminster earlier this year.
