Man shot in west Dublin

A man is recovering in hospital today after being shot in the Ronanstown area of Dublin this morning.

The man was shot as he left his home on St Mark’s Drive at around 6am.

The gunman fled the scene on a black moped.

Gardaí have preserved the scene of the attack for technical examination.
