FG: Ahern should take responsibility for Laffoy resignation

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has called on the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, to take personal responsibility for the resignation of Justice Mary Laffoy as chair of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse.

Mr Kenny said the resignation worryingly echoed the departure of Justice Fergus Flood as chair of the Planning and Payments Tribunal.
