An Ulster Unionist MP has raised security concerns after a Dublin-based company was awarded a contract to provide catering services to the Police Service of Northern Ireland

Jeffrey Donaldson is claiming safety could be compromised as a result of the cross-border deal.

Under the deal, Campbell Catering will provide restaurant services at up to 70 police stations and other PSNI offices in the North.

The MP says he is worried about the vetting procedures for staff involved in the catering and also the security arrangements for the transportation of goods from the Republic.
