A 19-year-old man was arrested this afternoon in connection with the shooting of a young woman, gardai said.

A 19-year-old man was arrested this afternoon in connection with the shooting of a young woman, gardai said.

The man was being questioned at Donnybrook Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, and can be held for up to 72 hours.
