Republicans were today accused of being responsible for almost all of the problems encountered by the Good Friday Agreement.

Senior Ulster Unionist Dermot Nesbitt claimed the failure of Sinn Féin and the IRA to realise that paramilitary groups must disappear had caused the crisis in the political process in Northern Ireland.
