BoI and bank union close to a deal

Bank of Ireland and the Irish Bank Officials Association appear to be edging closer to a resolution over proposed industrial action by information technology staff.

Independent arbitrator Kieran Mulvey’s recommendations were met with approval by the IBOA in the dispute over the bank’s decision to outsource its IT operation to Hewlett Packard.
