UUP to seek legal advice on latest anti-agreement challenge

The Ulster Unionist Party's officer board is to seek legal advice on the validity of the latest attempt by the anti-agreement camp to take control of the party.

The UUP hardliners have collected the signatures needed to call an emergency meeting of the party's ruling council, but the officer board said last night that it was seeking a legal opinion on the validity of the petition.
