Workers begin demolition of Fatima Mansions

Construction workers have begun demolishing the Fatima Mansions flats complex in Dublin's south inner city as part of plans to regenerate the area.

Fifteen blocks of flats are due to be knocked down and replaced with houses and private apartments as part of the plans, which also include the construction of an indoor sports centre, childcare facilities, shops and play areas.
