Man suffers serious burns in Dublin 'incident'

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an incident early this morning in which a 29-year-old man suffered serious burns.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an incident early this morning in which a 29-year-old man suffered serious burns.

The man was found lying on the ground on Ballyfermot Road just after midnight.

He was taken to St James' Hospital with burns to the chest and arms.

Gardaí said they have yet to establish if the man was attacked or if his injuries were self-inflicted or accidental, but the scene of the incident has been preserved for technical examination.
