Gardaí hold man in terror group probe

A man was being held in Limerick today by gardaí investigating criminal gangs in the city and the activities of the Continuity IRA republican terror group.

The move followed the detention last Sunday of three men by British police involved in a similar investigation in Lancashire. One of the group had connections with Limerick.
