Govt approves drafting of new Land Bill

The Government has approved the drafting of legislation to make it easier to transfer ownership of land.

The proposed Land Bill would include a scheme allowing farmers to buy out annuities at a 25% discount, subject to all outstanding arrears being paid in full.
