Woman on Croagh Patrick stretchered to hospital

A woman who sustained a leg injury on Croagh Patrick in Co Mayo has been stretchered down the mountain.

She's believed to have sustained a broken, or badly sprained ankle.

Mayo Mountain Rescue was called to her assistance.

She's expected to be taken to hospital in Castlebar for an examination and subsequent treatment.
