CIRA suspects linked to Limerick violence

Police in Britain have arrested three men following an arms seizure linked to criminal activity in Limerick and the activities of dissident republican paramilitaries.

Three men arrested in Britain as part of an operation into the Continuity IRA were today due to be questioned by British anti-terrorist officers.

The men, aged between 35 and 48, were arrested in Morecambe, Lancashire, yesterday afternoon after a number of weapons were found at commercial premises.
