More than 80 tonnes of sand is being transported from Co Wicklow to the grounds of Dublin Castle for an exhibition of sand sculpting.

Over the coming week, international sculptors will work for the first time in Ireland on three major pieces.

The exhibition is free and open to the public until the end of the month.
