Gardaí have launched a murder inquiry after a man was shot dead in an apparent gangland-style killing in Dublin last night.

A lone gunman wearing a motorcycle helmet entered Cleary's pub on Sarsfield Road in Inchicore at around 9.30pm and singled out a 35-year-old local man.
