Gardaí in Raheny, Co Dublin are investigating a serious assault on a man at a shopping centre in Kilbarrack in the early hours of today.

The man suffered a heart attack as a result of the attack at the Greendale Shopping Centre at 1.35am today.

The victim is in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital.
